Nitric Oxide Defined
Simply defined - if protein is the engine in the cells of your body that make the cells go, nitric oxide is what makes them talk to each other and tells them to go. It is a free form gas produced by the body by enzymes which break down the specific amino acid, L-Argenine. It is this L-Argenine that serves as a delivery mechanism to produce NO (nitric oxide) which reaction will produce the "muscle pump" that you experience when lifting weights.
